Our Story
Founded by Jessica in 2018 from a small appointment only warehouse, the brand began with a simple purpose to offer men a more personal, considered and elevated way to dress.
With a strong background in menswear and a reputation for honest, detail focused styling, Jessica built Mr Robinson on trust, service and experience. But at the heart of the brand was family.
Jessica’s father, James, was a menswear designer whose knowledge of tailoring, fabric and craftsmanship helped shape the standard Mr Robinson still carries today. His influence became part of the brand’s foundation premium menswear made accessible, without compromising on quality or care.
By 2019, Mr Robinson had grown within Melbourne’s wedding industry, becoming known for refined suits, curated wedding packages and a complete approach to dressing the modern groom and his party.
In December 2022, Mr Robinson opened its first shopfront in Heidelberg Heights, bringing the same personalised warehouse experience into a refined retail space.
After James passed away in 2025, Jessica’s sister Sarah stepped into the business, bringing her own retail experience and shared connection to their father’s legacy.
